About this tour

Tour Program

We meet our guests at the designated meeting point. After a short briefing by our professional guide, we begin exploring Istanbul’s historic neighborhoods.

Land Tour

Our first stop is Chora Church (Chora Mosque), one of the most important monuments of the Byzantine period. Accompanied by our guide, guests receive detailed information about the building and its world-famous mosaics.
(Entrance fee is extra. The visit is conducted with a guide.)

We then continue with a walking tour through the historic districts of Balat and Fener, which reflect Istanbul’s multicultural past. During this part of the tour, we visit Ahrida Synagogue, Greek Orthodox Church of St. Mary, St. Stephen Bulgarian Church (Iron Church), and the iconic Colorful Stairs of Balat. Guests experience the unique atmosphere of the area through guided commentary, photo stops, and strolls along the historic streets.

A panoramic drive through the Beyoglu area is also included in the land tour section.
