Hagia Sophia
One of the greatest masterpieces of Byzantine architecture, Hagia Sophia is visited in detail. Built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian I, the monument is explained in terms of its religious significance, architectural brilliance, and imperial symbolism.
Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Cistern)
One of the most impressive underground structures of the Byzantine period, the Basilica Cistern is explored with guided commentary. Information is provided about its construction, water system, column capitals, and the famous Medusa heads.
Hippodrome of Constantinople (Sultanahmet Square)

The Byzantine City Walls
The historic land walls of Constantinople, which protected the city for centuries, are viewed panoramically. The defensive system and historical importance of the walls are introduced by the guide.
